Objective The fund seeks a high level of current income, consistent with the preservation of capital and the maintenance of liquidity.
Strategy The Portfolio primarily invests in debt securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. Government or its agencies and securities such as repurchase agreements and variable rate or floating rate debt obligations all of which are collateralized by such obligations. Securities purchased by the Portfolio will have maturities of 397 days or less.
